WHAT IS EMIGRATION BENEFIT?
Emigration Benefit is a lump sum payment of your total TNPF savings when you permenantly leave Tuvalu to reside overseas.
This benefit is designed to help you take your hard-earned savings with you as you start a new life in another country.
KEY INFORMATION
Partially or Full withdrawal of your TNPF savings.
For Permanent departure from Tuvalu.
Paid in lump-sum
Subject to TNPF verification & approval.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
You may be eligible for an Emigration Benefit if:
You are a TNPF member.
You are permanently leaving Tuvalu to reside overseas.
You have no intention of returning to live or work in Tuvalu.
You meet all TNPF requirements and provide valid supporting documents.
WHAT YOU NEED?
1. Valid Identification
Copy of your valid passport.
2. Proof of Departure
Confirmed flight itinerary showing your permenant departure from Tuvalu.
3. Emigration Application
Comleted emigration Benefit application form available at the TNPF Office or website.
4. Proof of Residence Overseas
Evidence of overseas residence (eg. visa, residency confirmation)
5. Bank Account Details
Provide Bank Details information if not yet known.
HOW TO APPLY
STEP 1
Get the Form
Download or collect the Emigration Benefit Form from our office or website.
STEP 2
complete the Form
Fill in your details carefully and attach all required documents.
STEP 3
Submit Application
Submit your Emigration Application in person at the TNPF office.
STEP 4
Assessment
TNPF will assess your application and may contact you if additional information is required.
STEP 5
Approval
Once approved, we will confirm the amount payable.
STEP 6
Payment
Payment will be made to your Bank.
6. IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Emigration Benefit is a full withdrawal. Your TNPF membership will be closed.
Ensure all documents are valid and up-to-date to avoid delays.
TNPF reserves the right to request additional documents if necessary.
There is a fee of AUD$20.00 when applying for Emigration Benefit.
